Concept
Common sidewall conveyor belts are high-angle corrugated sidewall conveyor belts. Sidewall conveyor belts were first successfully developed and promoted by a British company. China introduced and promoted their production from Japan.
High-angle corrugated sidewall belts consist of three parts: the base belt, the sidewall, and the baffle. The sidewall prevents material from slipping and falling. To facilitate passage around the roller, the sidewall is designed in a corrugated shape; the function of the baffle is to support the material. To achieve high-angle conveying, T-type and TC-type are used. The sidewall and baffle are connected to the base belt using a secondary vulcanization method, resulting in high connection strength.

According to different cover rubber properties, they are divided into ordinary type, heat-resistant type, flame-retardant type, cold-resistant type, acid and alkali-resistant type, oil-resistant type, etc.
