  • Heat-resistant conveyor belts are specially designed for high-temperature environments, offering excellent heat resistance and a long lifespan. Here are some common types of heat-resistant conveyor belts and their detailed descriptions:

    Heat-resistant conveyor belt

Heat-resistant conveyor belts are made by covering multiple layers of rubber-coated cotton canvas or polyester canvas with high-temperature or heat-resistant rubber, then bonding them together through high-temperature vulcanization. They are suitable for conveying materials such as hot coke, cement, slag, and hot castings below 175℃.

Heat-resistant conveyor belts are divided into four types:

Type Ⅰ: Withstands a test temperature of no more than 100℃, with a maximum short-term operating temperature of 150℃.

Type Ⅱ: Withstands a test temperature of no more than 125℃, with a maximum short-term operating temperature of 170℃.

Type Ⅲ: Withstands a test temperature of no more than 150℃, with a maximum short-term operating temperature of 200℃.

Type Ⅳ: Withstands a test temperature of no more than 175℃, with a maximum short-term operating temperature of 250℃

    High-temperature conveyor belt

High-temperature conveyor belts use ethylene propylene rubber as the cover layer and domestically produced high-temperature canvas as the carcass material. They are characterized by light weight, long lifespan (approximately 2-4 times longer), and good heat resistance. These conveyor belts are mainly used in the metallurgical and construction industries for conveying high-temperature materials such as coke and clinker, where the material temperature does not exceed 600℃ and the belt surface temperature does not exceed 200℃.

    Incineration-resistant conveyor belt

Incineration-resistant conveyor belts consist of a high-temperature incineration layer, a transition layer, an organic heat insulation layer, a high-strength layer, and a heat-resistant layer. When the cover rubber encounters high temperatures, it forms a microporous carbonized layer, preventing heat from further transferring into the belt and reducing the internal strength of the belt. This type of conveyor belt can withstand material temperatures of 200-800℃ and is suitable for conveying sintered ore in the metallurgical, cement, power, coal, and mining industries.
